Why do people get married for the wrong reason? Why is it that people get married and thing try and change the person they married? I know I am asking two questions this time, but it bothers me.
I see folks get together then they want to get married, but they say if only he or she changes this or I don't they way he, she does this... But they get married anyway and then try and change what they did not like. Then in most cases when they find out that they could not change that person, they end up a statistic on the divorce rate published every year.
Why do people, women for the most part think they can change a mans behavior? behavior is a learned state, and can only be changed if the person is willing to change it, not because the person wants them to. and in most cases men say why should I change anything about me, you married me as is, why should I change know. When you buy a car new or used do you go back after you have purchased it and say I want a different color of paint, or I want you to remove these mud flaps. If you have tried to do that please let me know how that person looked at you and what was the response.
In short, people.. people. Marry for the right reason, you have to take the good with the bad, if the person was perfect do you think they would have been single when you found them. Don't try and change someone who does not want to be changed. and always, always check your self first before you tell some else what they should or should not be doing.

Parents and Kids
Why do parents let kids do stupid things? Why do they allow them to have Tattoos and 4 and 5 earrings before they even earn their High School Diploma, in some cases before they even get to high school!!! What happened to parents taking responsibility for their kid’s actions, rather then saying its peer pressure and they can't do anything about peer pressure.
Hell Peer Pressure has been around since the dawn of time, Adam and EVE had peer pressure, but god made someone responsible, Adam, why because he knew better. Eve was also punished but Adam was the responsible one of the two parties.
Some Parents have forgotten that taking care of kids, is more than just giving a roof over there head and giving them what ever they want because they cry. You must teach them about sacrifice, and honesty, not saying that you should not teach them the ways of the street or how to play the professional employment games. But you should teach them how to be accountable for their actions instead of passing the buck.
Our government does enough of that. and in return we have a growing population of pass the buck people who want compensation for being stupid. Etiquette and mannerisms have left the building, even the rich are crazy (Linzy Lohan - Paris Hilton) what excuses do they have, is it because they have too much money at their feet and that is why they do crazy and idiotic things and society lets them get away with it. No! NO NO, it is their parents, there are alot of rich kids who are upstanding people, and a few of them I know, and the reason why they are upstanding is because their parents are decent people, they have not let their wealth get to their ego and allow them to think they are any better than the people who make less than them.
Once again it all goes back to the parent. Parenting is life long choice and job and some people forget that, to the point that a 15 year old having kids is not a problem. Babies out of wedlock is not a problem, and you wonder why our standard of living is taking a nose dive, why TV shows are exploiting not just women but now men (gay men) and children. Everywhere you go someone is trying to convince you that this is the hip thing to do, and yet the parents the parents who should be telling their kids no, this is just phase or no don't believe everything you see or hear, is the first one in-line at the Macy's 15% off sale.
People we need to get it together and figure out Why parents are no longer raising their kids but instead just living along side their kids.

Why #4 /Why Do the Senators and Representatives of our Government think we are stupid?
Gosh, why, for those who are parents you may relate the people we vote for to go to capital hill are the children and we the parent. The only difference is they have the power to make our lives hell on earth. Does the Tail wagging the dog sound familiar.
Now in order to discuss this I must ask you to throw out and positive or negative feelings about George Bush (current) out of your mind. Because government has been ran this way for many years, almost like segregation, the women’s rights and so on. The principles are laid down, then the laws. If you strip the laws the principles remain to make new laws.
Now back to the question -Why Do the Senators and Representatives of our Government think we are stupid? There are a couple of reasons. First the people we are putting in power are not your average Americans for the most part, they are your top 2 to 5% of the wage earners in the county. How do I know this? What do they talk about when they speak of them selves, what schools they went to, how many degrees they have, what board of supervisors or trustees they sat on. I don’t know about you, but I have never seen a job application or posting to sit on the board of trustees of anything except for nursing homes.
Thus the privileged class is the one being voted into power, and this they already have a since of entitlement and arrogance of my way is the right way.
Next you have the long leash. We elect our senators for 6 years and our reps for 2. And no matter what they do, short of showing up on Dateline’s to catch a predator, they will get paid, month after month year after year. With no consequence for what they say or do, or don’t say or do.
Lastly “Money” the all mighty green back. Every politician will say we need to help the poor and middle class, the working poor and so on. But when was the last time any legislation actually helped the poor, middle class or working poor, that was not repelled. Tax cuts not Bushes’s in the past did help, but then they get removed, Taking candy from a baby. But more so than that, the politicians are paid to offers us these candies by special interest groups and wall street. When government lowers the interest rate housing takes off (Special Interest is paid to the politician that are in charge of that) when tariffs are placed on certain goods and not others, (Special Interest) they paid enough to have there competing product taxed to make it more expensive for us to buy forcing us to switch the brands we purchase.
My point is this, we are giving people who have never been were we have been, power over controlling our lives, of which they do not understand. Politicians are out of touch with the general public and do not know what is means to go without, they have never had there lights turned off, or worked overtime 7 days straight to cover a bill.

What would you think if you could do that to the people you work for, and they still keep you as an employee?

Why#3 Why do Doctors...

Why do doctors act as if they are Gods gift to humanity? Do they not remember that they too had training wheels on their bikes? Do they not remember using crayola crayons on a Tiger and Mickey Mouse coloring book? Please tell me.
Why do they act as if no mind is greater then there own, because they understand words that are not even in the english dictionary. Anyone can look up medical terminology, so it is not like; it is a private art or right of passage passed down from generation to generation. If it was I would understand. It is one thing to be proud of what you have accomplished but it is another when you force people to cater to you just because you can read a chart or you know my white cell blood count is.
It makes me mad when Doctors try and BS their way through topics that are not in their favor, and then change the subject and act as if you should know what they are talking about. It burns me when they are teaching their residents students and because someone did not go to so-called prestigious college that their knowledge is inferior.
What doctors forget is that just because they help people and sometimes make miracles happen, they are people that go the restroom just like the rest of us, thy pee and crap just like all of us, and just because you spent 18years in school does not mean you are any better of a person than I,
What 18 years of school does mean, is that you can sit longer than I can!

Why does Communication seem so hard some times
Why #2 – Why does Communication seem so hard some times.
Sit me in the room with a few people who I don’t know, and as long as things are going well in the initial, getting over we are all in the same room. You will find that people will open up. Why?
Why is it is that when you are trying to have a serious conversation with some, and you have already re-rehearsed the lines with either, yourself in the mirror or, with some strangers from work, but you get in front of that person you say “uhm uh I , I, don’t know what to say”.
That’s bull most of us are very capable of handling a conversation without heisitation and women don’t let guys trick you into thinking they are not critical thinker. It’s the 12th game of the football season, Greenbay Packers are playing the Chicago Bears, 4th quarter 4th and 7 at the 25 yard line tie game and Chicago has the football, ready to kick a field goal. And what does the group of men talk about during the kick preparation.
angle, trajectory, wind factor, chill factor, Surface type, kickers history, Chicago history, and then finally the which line backer should break through which offensive line to get a play on the ball.
Now all of us have had to answer at least one math word problem, I don’t know about you, but I would scream if what I listed above was in the problem I had to solve, but men can break down the probability of a successful field goal based on all that information. And yet when it comes to speaking truthful and honest in a serious debate men claim up,, and women too don’t think it does not go both ways.
So this comes back to my original question, Why does communication seem so hard some time? Well you have a few factors,
1st Comfort
2nd Risk of Change
3rd Lack of caring
4th If you don’t talk they will leave.
Let’s take Risk of change – Things in life evolve - humans, animals, cars, planes etc.
But for some strange reason we sometimes want things to stay as they are, and that includes relationships we have with people. Each time you learn something you grow a little, you are not the same person the moment before, well human communication is another form of learning, the more you speak to a specific person the more about that person you learn, but there comes a point when you learn so much that you form an lasting opinion of the person be it favorable or unfavorable.
The block comes in when one person has a favorability report with the other person and they don’t want to lose it for what ever reasons. By feeling this way you place your self in protect mode, which then filters each word you use in talking with this person, even if you are talking about the other person and not you’re self. This is not unusual nor strange. It happens daily, and for married people it happens every moment of every day. You want to make sure you don’t piss the other person off, which will cause then to have a less than favorable opinion of you for a set amount of time.
It is important that you recognize this within you, and just be aware that the reason sometimes you can not communicate in certain close situations is because you are protecting the relationship status and you don’t want the other person to think unfavorably of you. If you can learn to let get of this and be honest in your conversations, people will respect your more for your honesty and you find your self a pillar for other people to lean on in hard times, or times of confusion because they know you are not feeding them what we call Bull Sh$t.
In my e-book coming later in the summer of 07 I will break down each section of this issue and you will grain greater insight not only into your self, but also others.

The Very First Why?
Why did I start this blog? I know of no one who blogs, most of my friends read blogs, but for various reason - porn being one of them, but I have a few who just want to interact with people but not actually talk to them.
So here I am talking to you, or am I, or I am just letting the thoughts from my mind express it's self in a visual form. You see many people like to to talk to me in person and ask for my advice on things, and want insight as to how to change a habit they have, that ultimately will make there life hell, and yet I have not written any books on how to do so. All I have done is give open and honest advice, not brutal (at first anyway) but honest, and people do like that.
My wish is to help others not everyone I am no Dr. Phil but others, by bringing up thoughtful questions, some that are funny and some that are serious. I want to answer questions you my have, on what subject - Any the worst I could tell you is, I'm not sure, but I'll think about it or find some one who can help.
